Brett Holmquist, PhD, DABCC, FAACC

Dr. Holmquist earned his PhD in interdisciplinary life sciences from the University of California. He is board-certified in clinical chemistry and holds laboratory director qualifications in California and New York. He serves as a member of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry (AACC), the Endocrine Society, the American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS), Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) and is a founder of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Mass Spectrometry Group (LAMMS).

He received board certification as a medical laboratory scientist through the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, of which he is a member. He also is a member of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry and the American Society for Quality.

At Labcorp, Mr Jarisch is Quality Manager for the Houston satellite laboratories, as well as discipline director for satellite labs and waived testing, and semen analysis.

He graduated from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research in Chandigarh, India, where he studied and examined the adaptive T cell immune responses of DNA vaccines against infectious diseases using immunological and molecular biology methods. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship in Immunology from Colorado State University.
