Serious health risks are on the rise across the U.S. Heart disease and stroke are two leading causes of death for Americans, and high blood pressure increases the risk for both of these diseases.1 Working with a large healthcare organization, we’ve found that the combination of biometric screenings and health coaching is helping employees reduce their risk of heart disease, specifically by improving blood pressure by one risk category level. This could mean improving from an “elevated” level of 125/80 mm Hg to a “normal” level of 110/70 mm Hg.

Missy McGrew

Missy McGrew is a quality director who specializes in anatomic pathology (histology/cytology) quality oversight. Missy has been with Labcorp for 36 years, 14 of those in her current role. Before that, she worked in cytology operations.

Missy is ASCP certified as a cytotechnologist, ASQ certified as a certified quality auditor, and she is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt.

When Missy is not at work, she enjoys traveling and working in her flower garden.

Marta Moos

Marta Moos is the VP of the National Office of Quality, and she specializes in the design and execution of the quality management functional strategy.  She is responsible for the implementation of the organizational framework for facilitating the continual improvement of the Global Quality Management System in line with changes to regulations and best practices.

Marta has been with Labcorp since 2019 when she started as the senior quality director.

Judy Snyder

Judy is a divisional quality director who specializes in regulatory readiness and process improvement. Judy has been with Labcorp since October of 2019.

Judy previously worked in health and hospital systems as a quality director overseeing all areas of the organization for quality, patient safety, infection control and regulatory readiness. Judy is currently focused on process improvement, and inspiring and growing her team’s competency at Labcorp.

Tony Goodman

Tony Goodman is a quality director who specializes in anatomic pathology for the Southeast and Pacific Northwest. Tony has been with Labcorp since 2007 and has served as cytology supervisor in the past.

Linda A. Thrasher

Linda Thrasher is director of quality management for anatomic pathology, and she specializes in cytology and histology. Linda has been with Labcorp since 1998 as cytology processing supervisor, cytotechnologist, front-end manager and regional quality manager.
