Xia Hu, PhD

Dr. Xia Hu joined Labcorp Central Laboratory Services in 2022 and is a scientist in the genomics department. In this role, Xia is responsible for method validation, troubleshooting and assay transfer support.

Before joining Labcorp, Xia studied genetics at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences as a PhD candidate. There, she trained in first-generation sequencing and next-generation sequencing. As part of her PhD research, she also accumulated experience in PCR, real-time PCR and RNA sequencing analysis.
