Turnaround time is defined as the usual number of days from the date of pickup of a specimen for testing to when the result is released to the ordering provider. In some cases, additional time should be allowed for additional confirmatory or additional reflex tests. Testing schedules may vary.

Special Instructions
Collect specimen prior to dialysis. Do not collect if patient has received antithymocyte globulin, OKT3, or alemtuzumab (Campath®) recently. These drugs may cause false-positive results.
Limitations
This test provides limited information as to the HLA specificities of the antibodies. Detects antibodies of the IgG isotype and not IgM antibodies, which are usually indicative of autoantibodies.
