Current blood cultures availability

We are aware of current delays in the global supply of some BD BACTECTM blood culture media. While this issue is not impacting Labcorp’s supplies, we are receiving additional requests from hospitals and laboratories impacted by this issue. 

At this time, we have limited capacity to accept additional volumes of blood cultures beyond our routine volume. 

At Labcorp, we understand the critical role blood culture media play in diagnosing and treating infections and are actively reviewing all available options to further support our customers and laboratory partners during this time.
