Chevonne Eversley, PhD, DABMG

Dr Eversley earned her PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her postdoctoral training in molecular genetics at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, and she is a fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics.

Dr Eversley is co-discipline director of the molecular genetics, genomic sequencing, and prenatal genomic screening laboratories at the Center for Molecular Biology and Pathology. She is responsible for oversight of molecular genetic interests at the facility.

Ruth Heim, PhD, FACMG

Dr Heim is currently a diplomate of the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics and a fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics. She is certified by the New York State Department of Health as a director of genetic testing (molecular) and molecular and cellular tumor markers. Dr Heim graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, with a First Class BSc(Hons) degree and a PhD in human molecular genetics. She completed postdoctoral fellowship training in clinical molecular genetics at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

Philip R. Wyatt, MD, PhD

Dr Wyatt earned a PhD in human anatomy and human genetics from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada, and a medical degree from the University of Kentucky. Before joining Integrated Genetics (formerly Genzyme Genetics), a member of the Labcorp Specialty Testing Group, in 2007, he had a lengthy career at North York General Hospital’s Regional Center in Toronto, Canada, ultimately serving as chief of the Department of Genetics and medical director of the genetics program. He also served as genetics section head for the Ontario Medical Association.

Jonathan L. Klein, MD

Dr Klein is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, hematopathology and molecular genetic pathology.  He earned his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine, New York State program, Tel Aviv, Israel. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Winthrop University Hospital, Mineola NY, where he served as chief resident and performed his fellowship training in Hematopathology and Molecular Genetic Pathology at Washington University – Barnes Jewish Hospital, St.

Joe Kearney, PhD

Dr Kearney received his PhD in genetics and molecular biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003, where he studied vascular development and tumor neovascularization. During a subsequent post-doctoral fellowship in neurogenetics, Dr Kearney developed a research interest in the genetics of neurodevelopmental disorders. He received his clinical molecular genetics training at the Greenwood Genetic Center and the Fullerton Genetics Center, where his studies focused on developing new genetic tests for the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders.
