Congenital cytomegalovirus (cCMV) remains the most common congenital infection, yet awareness and screening practices continue to lag behind. This session will review the epidemiology, transmission, and clinical burden of cCMV, highlight current diagnostic strategies, and explore emerging research on neurodevelopmental and neurodivergent outcomes.
