Dr. Anthony Guihur brings extensive experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, and “omics” (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics) with a touch of bioinformatics and data analysis. He earned his PhD from the University of Tours in France where he specialized in plant secondary metabolism (terpene biosynthesis). He then held a postdoctoral position at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, studying heat shock proteins in plants and other organisms. Anthony has also authored more than 25 peer-reviewed scientific publications and participated in several international conferences as a speaker.
His role at Labcorp involves troubleshooting and leveraging his experience to enhance assay validation processes, ensuring the accuracy, reliability and compliance with regulation of genomic assays used in clinical and laboratory settings. Anthony’s diverse and transversal background in academic research and life science/biotech industry operations underscores Labcorp’s dedication to scientific excellence and innovation in genomics.
