Dr. Aaron Ledvina joined Labcorp Bioanalytical Services as an LC-MS method development chemist shortly after completing his PhD in analytical chemistry, studying under professor Joshua Coon in 2012. In 2014, Aaron was promoted to the role of technical lead for method development. In that role, Aaron continued to work as an individual contributor but was also heavily involved in troubleshooting, client-facing and promoting Labcorp Bioanalytical Services. After leading the method development team on an interim basis for much of 2017, in 2019, Aaron assumed oversight of the method development team on a permanent basis in 2019, also assuming responsibility for the validation team in 2020.
In early 2022, Aaron transitioned to a senior scientist role working closely with both the commercial and operations teams. Throughout his ~15 years working in the field of bioanalysis, Aaron has co-authored more than 25 peer-reviewed manuscripts in the field of mass spectrometry. In particular, Aaron is very interested in microsampling (liquid and dried), protein quantitation via LC-MS and oligonucleotide quantitation via LC-MS.
